TheCactus V6 Transceiver Wireless Flash is wirelessly formed to trigger your NIKON, CANON, PENTAX and 15 other models from 328 to 886 feet away, depending on conditions. In fact, many of the flashes that are not on the compatibility list (see features) can be used through the V6's learning mode. The V6's TTL pass-through technology allows you to mount both the V6 and flash with its TTL connection intact while being remotely regulated and able to fire your slave flashes. According to the status of the V6 as a transceiver, it has both a mounting foot and a shoe that allows it to be used in the camera or as a slave with an untethered flash. The V6 is powered by 2 optional AA or USB batteries or DC power supplies.

Power Remote Control of CANON, NIKON and PENTAX Flashes
Each flash model has its individual power level characteristics. Cactus has profiled more than 30 popular flash models across a wide range of brands so that the V6 can precisely control its production levels. With this unique feature, photographers can remotely control the flash power of various flash models, even from different brands.

 

At present, more than 30 popular flash models of CANON, NIKON, PENTAX, METZ, Nissin, etc. have been profiled and pre-installed on the V6. By selecting the flash model pre-installed on the V6 Cactus the photographer can remotely control the flash power output of the selected flash model wirelessly via the V6 Cactus . If a flash model isn't on the list, the V6 may even learn its flash profile and then be able to control the output power of the flash. (See compatibility note)

Optional rf60 Flash Wireless Cactus remote control Power and Zoom
The V6 can directly control an RF60 cactus configured in Slave mode using a radio transmitter-receiver function of the RF60. In addition to controlling power remotely in single and multiple groups, the V6 can also adjust the RF60's zoom level easily by pressing the adjustment wheel control and the power-to-zoom exchange wheel.
Absolute Power Control
V6 reference can the output power of flash models with different GN. In absolute power mode, EV numbers can be used to specify an absolute light intensity, independent of the maximum power of a flash model.
TTL Pass-through
The V6 transceiver comes with a multi-system sneaker that uses TTL pass-through technology to cause you to maintain the TTL connection with your camera with the transceiver and the camera-mounted flash.
