To achieve this optical performance, these binoculars feature fully multilayer extra-low dispersion (ED) anti-glare glass with phase correction coatings on bak4 roof prisms. A wide apparent viewing angle not only presents an immersive viewing experience to complement the impressive optical performance, but also helps minimize the distracting hand tremor that is common when holding high-power optics like this.

Designed to withstand a lifetime of outdoor use, its chassis is made of a lightweight and durable composite material that is also corrosion resistant to make it ideal for boaters. Optical tubes are waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions. VANGUARD includes tied front and rear lens caps to add an extra layer of protection in the field, with the ability to react quickly to glazing opportunities without fear of losing caps.
