Sliding the thumb mount into the hot shoe increases the ergonomics of the M11 LEICA . With your thumb on the rest tab, the camera can be held much more firmly and is easier to operate. It makes one-handed shooting more stable and allows the use of longer shutter speeds without the risk of camera shake. The thumb mount is made of CNC aluminum, features the same Eloxal finish as the CL LEICA and, when incorporated, blends with the camera into a visual unit.
