Enhancing the design of the Monarch 5, the Monarch M5 8x42 NIKON binoculars feature a wider field of view for a more immersive viewing experience, while maintaining the same focus on comfort and performance that the Monarch line is known for. Extra-low dispersion glass, multi-reflective coating, and phase-corrected and dielectric coated roof prisms provide bright, high-contrast images with true-to-life colors and minimal color fringing.

Premium optical performance

With 8x magnification, the M5 Monarch binoculars allow you to zoom in on distant objects, but are easy to hold firmly. The generous 42mm objective lenses produce a bright image, even in low-light conditions such as dawn and dusk. Extra-low dispersion glass minimizes chromatic and spherical aberrations, while phase-corrected prism coatings reduce internal interference for improved light transmission, contrast, and resolution.

Use and handling

The roof prism design and closed-bridge configuration provide a compact and comfortable form factor. The high eyepiece design provides ample space between the eyebrow and the eyepieces for a clear field of view, even when wearing glasses, and the click-stop and twist rubber eyepieces make viewing with glasses a pleasure, with or without glasses. The large sliding central focus wheel allows precise focus control, even when wearing gloves. Diopter adjustment and a wide interpupillary range allow for easy use by a wide variety of people. The M5 Monarch can be mounted with the optional adapter.
