Leica M 35mm f1.4 lens

The LEICA M 35mm f1.4 lens combines a lightweight wide-angle feature with natural-looking dimensions, making it especially versatile. Whether it's detailed landscape photography, high-contrast images even in difficult light conditions, or close-up subjects with selective focus: the LEICA M 35mm f1.4 Summilux ASPH lens. It produces extraordinary results. Eleven aperture sheets are now used instead of nine for visibly improved bokeh. In addition, the closest focusing distance has been reduced from 70 to 40 centimeters. Such closeness is made possible by a major improvement in lenses, patent pending, recently developed by LEICA engineers.
