LEICA can boast of having the brightest lens ever built: the LEICA 50mm f / 0.95 Noctilux M, with this aperture needless to say has the ability to perform with the authentic night photography shots since it is able to take advantage of the light very well
After more than 30 years LEICA breaks its own record and presents the brightest aspherical lens in the world: the NOCTILUX-M 0.95 / 50 mm ASPH LEICA .
It takes the legacy of the famous NOCTILUX-M 1/50mm LEICA , which has been in the catalogue since 1975. Thanks to the most modern optical technology and mechanical technology, LEICA has achieved substantial improvements over the previous model.
With practically the same dimensions, a notable increase in luminosity has been achieved. The extremely short field depth at maximum aperture results in an aesthetic effect in portraits and creative photographs.
With just a simple diaphragm, the result is an extraordinary image quality, comparable to that offered by the SUMMILUX-M 1:1.4/50mm ASPH LEICA , considered in itself a reference. When used in brighter conditions, the lens exceeds the perception of the human eye. A floating element maintains image quality even at the shortest distances. Vignetting and distortion have been markedly improved compared to the 1/50mm.
