Characterized by its elegant and discreet profile, the LEICA Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH lens is a compact lens that is especially suitable for street photography applications. Beyond its slender stature, this first wide-angle also features eight-element, six-group optical design containing an aspherical element to minimize spherical aberrations and nearly all distortions for cleanliness, sharp image quality throughout the aperture and focus ranges. In addition, for intuitive operation and use, the manual focus design lends itself precise control during filming, and its short, just over 1" long, profile barely protrudes into the viewfinder field of the M cameras for a neat clearer perspective while composing the images.
