Unified Form – Compact and Lightweight

The V-AF 45mm T1.9 FE has a compact size of 72.2 x 72.1mm and a weight of 280g, providing a form factor consistent with other V-AF series lenses for easy lens changes when using gimbals and drones.

Tally Lamp – Excellent usability

All V-AF lenses have two indicator lights integrated into the lens itself, one on the side of the lens and one on the front. When the indicator light changes from green to red, users know the camera is rolling. The indicator light can be turned off with the Samyang lens station.

Supports up to 8K resolution with color matching tone

The V-AF series is designed for high resolution up to 8K and provides a unified color tone that can help reduce post-production time.

Customizable switch and button

The lens features the 'Focus save' feature in MF mode, which is usually only found on professional cinema equipment. It also has a custom mode that allows you to choose your own feature through a firmware update.

Mounting Metal Accessories

The front of the V-AF lenses features an electronic connector, allowing communication between the lens and its unique accessories. The manual focus adapter was released and others will come out in the future. The adapter is compatible with Φ95mm size matte box and allows precise and detailed aperture control that provides a professional shooting experience.

Tally Light – Excellent Functionality

The Tally light, located on the front and index of the frame, helps to verify whether a video is currently being recorded or not. It makes it easy to create content, even in limited spaces with a very small team.

Support 8K and unity in color tone

Despite being small and very light lenses, the new V-AF series supports 8K resolution. Therefore, they are ideal for working both handheld, from drones or gimbals, as well as for productions in studios or various locations. All V-AF Series lenses share a unified color tone, which prevents errors when replacing lenses in a production. Its 9 diaphragm blades achieve natural and harmonious bokeh.

Advanced Autofocus System

Following current guidelines where both video and photography must be taken into consideration, the AF 75mm F1.8 FE's autofocus employs a new stepper motor (STM) for fast, quiet and accurate focusing, helping the photographer capture every moment without complications.

Customization

The focus ring is normally disabled during AF mode. To improve its functionality, the concept of customization has Samyang introduced, which allows you to adjust the aperture with the focus ring. Through a firmware update, the button can be customized to modify the operability according to the photographer's preferences.
