• Sharing the same size and weight across the entire V-AF line – Compact and lightweight

The V-AF series lenses improve compatibility with gimbals and drones by sharing, in their 5 focal lengths (from ultra-wide angle to medium-tele), the same exterior design. All of them offer a compact size of 73mm x 70mm and weigh only 300g. Therefore, there is no need to adjust the equipment when switching from one lens to another.

• Tally Light – Excellent functionality

Tally's light, located on the front and index of the frame, helps to check whether a video is currently being recorded or not. It facilitates the creation of content, even in limited spaces with a very small team.

• Support 8K and unity in color tone

Despite being small and very light lenses, the new V-AF series supports 8K resolution. Therefore, they are ideal for working both camera in hand, from drones or gimbals, as well as for productions in studios or various locations. All V-AF series lenses share a unified color tone, preventing errors when replacing lenses in a production. Its 9 diaphragm blades achieve a natural and harmonious bokeh.

• Customizable switch and button

The V-AF lens features the 'Focus save' function, which is usually offered by professional cinema equipment. In addition, a customizable mode adds functions through the firmware, which offers specific video functions for students and amateurs who dream of being audiovisual producers.

With a total of 10 lenses distributed in 9 groups, Samyang uses 5 special elements (3 Extra Low Dispersion and 2 High Refraction) that create results with impeccable sharpness, very low chromatic aberration and minimal distortion.

• Advanced Autofocus System

Following the current guidelines in which both video and photography must be taken into consideration, the AF 75mm F1.8 FE's autofocus employs a new stepper motor (STM) for fast, quiet and accurate focusing, helping the photographer capture every moment without complications.

• Customization

The focus ring is normally disabled during AF mode. To improve its functionality, the concept of customization has Samyang introduced that allows you to adjust the aperture with the focus ring. Through a firmware update you can customize the button so that it allows you to modify the operability according to the preferences of the photographer.
