Designed for full-frame SONY E-mount mirrorless cameras, the fast and versatile SIGMA 45mm f/2.8 DG DN lens is a normal-length cousin that optimizes size and weight while delivering remarkably smooth bokeh with rounded blur that stands out in both foreground and background. Along with its ability to smooth the periphery of blurry images while enhancing the three-dimensional impression of an object, its minimum focusing distance of 9.5" makes it suitable for taking snapshots of tabletop photos, or any image you want to highlight the subject in.

Although full-time manual focus is available, this lens is equipped with a stepper motor that allows for smooth, high-speed autofocus that is remarkably quiet, whether features like face/eye detection AF are used or during video shooting. A rounded seven-leaf diaphragm contributes to smooth bokeh, and a lens hood is included, which can protect the front element and prevent scattered light from causing flashes.
