The fantastic optical performance of the new 24mm F1.4 DG DN | Art is supported by the optimal arrangement of 17 elements distributed in 14 groups, including two FLD elements, one SLD element, and four glass aspherical elements.

The effective suppression of optical aberrations such as sagittal coma flare, which cannot be corrected in-camera, helps to increase the ability of this lens to accurately reproduce any image point from one end of the frame to the other.

Phenomena such as ghosting and flare are minimized thanks to a state-of-the-art optical design. The use of Super Multi-Layer and Nanoporous (NPC) coatings allows the SIGMA 24mm F1.4 DG DN | Art stands out even when shooting backlit and using practically the maximum aperture.

The new angle in the Art range provides brilliant optical performance in a compact, portable and easy-to-use body.

Thanks to the optimal arrangement of each component, the use of complex aspherical glass elements, the freedom afforded by the short recording distance and the painstaking work to save every last gram, this lens offers an astonishingly low size and weight despite its wide-angle focal length and maximum aperture of F1.4. And all this without compromising its optical qualities.

The SIGMA 24mm F1.4 DG DN | Art incorporates a front thread for filters and a rear filter holder. It also has the new MFL switch, which allows you to deactivate the focus ring to prevent accidental change (a very useful function for astrophotography).

The dust- and splash-proof structure and oil-repellent front lens coating ensure the integrity of the optics and their proper operation even in the most demanding environments.

Practical features such as the focus mode switch, a configurable AFL button and the aperture ring lock switch increase the intuitive use of this optic.

The petal-shaped sunshade features a locking mechanism to ensure a firm hold. Videographers will also appreciate the quick and quiet autofocus mechanism driven by a stepper motor, as well as the aperture ring click override switch, which provides smooth spinning.
