The optical construction of the new TAMRON 17-70 f2.8 SONY features 16 elements in 12 groups. Two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements and a hybrid aspherical lens element are precisely arranged to maintain high-resolution corner-to-corner performance.

The 17-70mm TAMRON Lens SONY features TAMRON's patented VC mechanism.
