The 11-20mm F2.8 is a high-brightness zoom lense that covers a range of focal lengths from 11mm to 20mm3  ultra-wide, with a maximum aperture of F2.8 across its entire focal length range.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight design, it's a fast ultra-wide-angle zoom lense that attaches to a compact APS-C mirrorless camera body, making it ideal for everyday use. The lense offers high-level imaging power thanks to its uncompromising optical design. Wide macro shots can be taken in 11 mm, with a MOD (Minimum Distance to Object) of 0.15 m  and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4. Its impressive close-range shooting performance allows for creative use of perspective at the wide-angle end. The lense also incorporates an AF drive system with an RXD (Rapid-eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepper motor unit that is remarkably quiet. Excellent optical performance

The optical construction uses 12 elements in 10 groups, including two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements to maintain high resolution throughout the image area. It also incorporates an XLD (Extra-low Dispersion) element and two LD (Low Dispersion) elements to effectively suppress aberrations and ensure sharp image quality. Its BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) coating minimizes ghosting and flare, faithfully reproducing details even against the light.
