The Lense TAMRON 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 covers a wide zoom range of approximately 27mm to 450mm (full-frame equivalent focal length). It is the world's first zoom lense for APS-C mirrorless cameras with a zoom ratio of 16.6x, and offers all the benefits of a versatile zoom lense giving the user numerous photographic possibilities. Its AF drive system uses TAMRON's VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focusing mechanism for superior noise reduction and agile performance; The lens includes special elements to deliver high-resolution performance and provide high image quality that positions it among the best all-terrain zoom lenses.

With a MOD (minimum focusing distance) of 0.15m at its widest end and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2, this lense performs amazingly well when shooting at nearby objects. It is equipped with TAMRON 's patented VC (vibration compensation) mechanism that enables stable photography even at extreme focal lengths. And it features a unified filter size of 67mm, just like other lenses TAMRON for mirrorless cameras.

The new zoom is protected by its moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine coating designed for outdoor shooting in adverse weather conditions. Its 67mm filter size is identical to TAMRON's lense standard fast aperture zoom 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD (model B070) for APS-C mount SONY E mirrorless cameras, as well as almost all TAMRON lenses in the mirrorless camera series, that fit perfectly with APS-C cameras. Supporting many of the features SONY built into its cameras, including Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF, the lense is packed with features for a comfortable shooting experience.
