The OLYMPUS 25mm f1.8 M.Zuiko Digital ED lens is a standard prime lens with a 35mm format of 50mm equivalent focal length that is designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras. This lens has a fast f/1.8 maximum aperture ideal for working in low light situations and for separating the object from the background. Contributing to the image quality is the use of two aspherical elements that helps you eliminate spherical aberrations and distortions. During shooting, a high-speed film and Stills Compatible (MSC) autofocus system allows you to quietly and quickly reach focus. This focusing system also allows the 25mm lenses to focus from as little as 9.4" from heavily framed vaccines. In addition, it features a seven-blade circular diaphragm for soft-focus out-of-focus areas, as well as a 46mm front filter thread. Included with the lens are the front and rear lens caps, the LH-49B lens hood, and the DR-49 decoration ring. Optional accessories such as a macro conversion target and case are available.
