ContactAt the crossroads of image quality, portability, speed and reliability, OM SYSTEM 's OM-1 is an iconic mirrorless camera designed for adventure. Featuring its versatile Micro Four Thirds platform, the OM-1 combines fast, agile still-image performance and apt 4K video recording with unique computational imaging tools and a rugged, reliable physical design.
Micro Four Thirds Sensor BSI Live MOS
The newly designed 20.4MP Micro Four Thirds Live MOS sensor features a stacked BSI design that offers improved read speeds, noise levels and greater dynamic range than previous designs. This sensor structure improves noise performance at two stops and dynamic range at one stop to improve image quality, especially at higher ISO values.
TruePic X processor
Compared to previous-generation processors, TruePic X offers 3x faster processing speeds along with a 120fps sensor readout speed for faster, more responsive shooting. The processor also contributes to a wide ISO range and fast continuous shooting rates:
Cross Quad Pixel AF and AI detection
With a unique design, in-sensor phase detection AF uses a Cross Quad Pixel system that effectively splits each pixel into four subpixels for cross-sensor performance that is more adept at focusing in difficult lighting conditions. The focusing system has 1053 individual points, which completely cover the sensor and operate at up to 120 fps to suit virtually all recording methods.
Benefiting from the Cross Quad Pixel AF structure, color and contrast information from the sensor can also be used to create a detailed depth map of the image for more refined subject detection and tracking accuracy. Using AI, this focusing system can automatically detect a variety of subject types, such as cars, motorcycles, planes, helicopters, trains, birds, dogs, cats, and humans, as well as faces and eyes. And, compared to previous iterations of this focusing system, improved processing now makes focusing performance 2x more accurate and 3x faster.
5-axis image stabilization
In-body 5-axis image stabilization compensates for up to 8 stops of camera shake, allowing for the use of significantly longer shutter speeds when shooting handheld. This advanced sensor switching system compensates for 7 stops of camera movement with the body alone, and an additional stop is provided when selected IS-enabled lenses are attached.
Handheld Assist relies on this stabilization technology to achieve a more stable framing, which is especially useful when working with longer focal length lenses. Additional in-body image stabilization also contributes to a variety of shooting modes and additional camera functions, including high-resolution shooting modes, handheld live composite, and an advanced dust reduction system.

Features OLYMPUS 12-200mm lens
A unique lens solution for most shooting situations, the OLYMPUS M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-200mm f/3.5-6.3 is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and covers a large equivalent focal length range of 24-400mm. Despite its long range, the lens is also characterized by its portable form factor, a minimum focusing distance of 8.7" and a sophisticated optical design, which includes a variety of aspherical, low dispersion and high refractive index elements to produce well-corrected images. A ZERO coating has also been applied to help reduce the glare and ghosting of the lens for greater contrast and color fidelity when working in bright lighting conditions. In addition, this lens uses an AF system compatible with film and still images to achieve smooth, fast and almost silent focusing performance that benefits photo and movie applications.
With an impressive wide-angle to super-telephoto range, this 12-200mm zoom is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides an equivalent focal length range of 24-400mm.
Three aspherical elements, one Super HR (high refractive index) element and two HR elements are featured in the optical design to limit spherical aberrations to improve sharpness with reduced distortion. In addition, two Super ED (extra low dispersion) elements and two ED elements are also used to control chromatic aberrations and color edges for greater clarity and color fidelity.
A ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) coating was applied to individual elements to minimize lens reflection and ghosting to improve contrast and color fidelity when working in intense lighting conditions.
The Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) autofocus system benefits photo and video applications due to its smooth, quiet and fast performance.
The minimum focusing distance of 8.7" at the wide-angle end, and a working distance of 3.9", offers a maximum magnification of 0.46x to suit working with foreground subjects.
Weather-sealed construction protects the lens from dust and moisture for working in harsh environments.
The round seven-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality.
