The Vanguard 10x42 Spirit XF Binocular, in black, is designed for avid outdoor enthusiasts and hunters who require an optic that can function in the harshest conditions and survive a life on the road. Their 10x magnification allows for detailed observations from long distances, while 42mm lenses draw large amounts of light for use in low-light conditions without being too bulky or heavy, such as higher-target binoculars.
Complementing the power and lenses are phase-corrected BAK4 ceiling prisms and fully emerald green coated optics that enhance light transmission, color reproduction and contrast. All of these features, when combined with a wide field of view, provide an immersive viewing experience with high-contrast images and accurate color rendering. To cope with the rigors of the road, the chassis is made of a lightweight, impact-resistant magnesium alloy wrapped in black rubber armor that not only protects the optics from drops and impacts, but also provides a non-slip grip. An open bridge/double hinge configuration helps reduce weight without sacrificing force while increasing grip surface to improve stability and comfort. The optical tubes are filled with nitrogen and sealed with O-ring to make them resistant to water and fog even in the harshest conditions. The swivel eyepieces allow easy use with or without glasses and are built to stay in place without scrolling during a climb to the blind, and the binocular can be mounted on a tripod with an optional adapter to reduce fatigue during a long day's work.
