The VEO HD IV 8420 binoculars feature Japanese HOYA extra-low dispersion (ED) glass with phase-corrected SK-15 prisms, a combination that eliminates chromatic aberration for absolute color fidelity across the entire field of view and enhanced contrast. These binoculars also have multiple coating on ALL crystals, unlike other optics with multiple coating only on selected crystals.

The entire optical system is coated with a broadband green film to improve brightness and offer a more comfortable view. The so-called broadband green film refers to the brightness that the coated film can increase. It can increase the brightness from the 350NM-700NM band (purple-red).
