Tamron Tap in Console

For the first time ever, users of a unique selection of TAMRON lenses will be able to update the firmware and adapt some settings to their needs, simply by connecting the device TAMRON TAP-in Console and operating it through the TAMRON TAP-in Utility platform software on their PC or Mac. To date, firmware updates could only be carried out through TAMRON Technical Support. Thanks to this new accessory and through an internet connection, users of some TAMRON targets will have permanent access to a specialized platform that gives access to firmware updates. In addition, it is possible to customize certain settings in certain objectives (see description below). In this way, based on which job the user prefers to give to the target, it will be better adapted to their preferences. Now TAMRON lenses are more versatile and easy to use.

With the device TAMRON TAP-in Console, users can make the following modifications:

• Update the firmware
  • Update the firmware of compatible lenses
  • Update the firmware of the "TAP-in Console"

  Customize features of some goals

• • Focus settings
  • Set a focus limit (only for lenses that have the Focus Limiter function)
  • Manual focus pre-emption (allows you to focus manually even while in AF mode; only in objectives that have the "Full-time Manual Focus" function)
  • VC settings (only on models with VC image stabilizer)
  • Save custom data files
