LUMIX G90, a camera designed for high mobility and ease of use that, together with its advanced technology, is presented as the perfect ally for photographers and videographers.

With a 20.3-megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor, the latest Venus Engine and the 5-Axis Dual IS 2 dual image stabilizer, the G90 is ready to record the action in a wide variety of different situations, ideal for capturing the perfect time of day in stunning quality.

Externally redesigned for maximum comfort and easy one-handed operation, the G90 is splash and dust resistant. In addition, it incorporates a high-precision OLED electronic viewfinder (LVF), combined with a 3.0-inch folding rear screen to obtain the best possible composition from any angle.

For video, the new LUMIX G90 enables advanced video recording in 4K and Full HD at a wide range of frame rates, plus external recording, a 3.5mm microphone jack and a new headphone jack.

As with other LUMIX products, the 4K Photo feature enables high-speed 60fps capture in an equivalent resolution of about 8 megapixels, allowing you to capture fleeting moments thanks to new features added to the G90, including Sequence Composition and Auto-Dialing.

It includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity® to offer a more flexible experience and instant exchange of images, as well as allowing charging via USB without the need to remove its battery.

• High image quality and super fast AF

The G90's 20.3-megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor has been designed without a low-pass filter to capture more detail. Working in combination with the Venus Engine, the images appear natural, true to reality and with a wide dynamic range.

For sharper shots, the new LUMIX G90 includes the 5-Axis Dual IS Dual Image Stabilizer, which combines OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) with BIS (Body Image Stabilizer) to compensate for movement while shooting up to the equivalent of a 5-stop shutter speed. The dual 5-axis image stabilizer works for both photos and video, including 4K video for the smoothest possible clip.

The new LUMIX G90 has improved its high-speed AF (autofocus) function, to 0.07 seconds, along with high-speed burst shooting at 9fps (AF-S) or 6fps (AF-C), helping to capture sharp photographs of moving subjects. The new G90's DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology also tracks moving objects, allowing the user to adjust sensitivity to adapt AF behavior to the photographed object.

Face/Eye Detection AF automatically detects human faces for sharper focusing, while other focus modes include Pinpoint AF, to target precise areas; the Low Light AF, which has been optimized to shoot when light levels drop; and custom Multi AF, which allows users to select blocks from 49 focus detection areas. For manual focusing, Focus Peaking is available, which allows us to know which plane the focus is in.

The LUMIX G90 has been redesigned for ease of use with one hand. Three new buttons are located inline on the superior plate to adjust exposure, ISO and white balance. The buttons on the back are located around the dial wheel for quick access to the various settings in both shooting and playback. The front and rear dials allow direct adjustment and can be configured according to the user's preferences.

The composition of the image is done through the large oled electronic viewfinder of great precision (LVF), with a resolution of 2,360k points, a field of view of 100% and a magnification of 0.74x or through the rear oled screen of three inches with a resolution of 1040k points, with free angle movement and sensitivity to touch.

The rugged design of the new G90 features a body built with a die-cast magnesium alloy front structure and incorporates a redesigned grip for more comfortable and stable shooting. Ready for any occasion, the LUMIX G90 is splash and dust resistant* thanks to the sealing of all gaskets, dials and buttons.

*Dust and splash resistance does not guarantee that damage will not occur if the camera is exposed to direct contact with dust and water.

• Video functionality

The LUMIX G90 is a truly versatile hybrid camera. It can record video in 4K (3840x2140) at 30p/25p (50Hz area)/30p (60Hz) or 24p in addition to Full HD (1920x1080) at 60p/50p (50Hz area), 60p (60Hz area) with permanent AF. High-speed video can also be used to record slow motion in Full HD at 120 fps (1/4x), 90 fps (1/3x) and 60 fps (1/2x).

Real-time image output to an external monitor in 4:2:2:2/8-bit* via a micro HDMI cable is also available, while the V-Log L is pre-installed to offer a wider dynamic range for color reproduction in post-production. In addition, a 3.5mm microphone jack is included for high-quality audio recording, as well as a headphone jack.

The G90 includes LUMIX's familiar 4K Photo modes. It offers users the ability to extract fleeting moments at 30fps from a 4K video, and now, thanks to a new auto-dial feature that automatically detects frames with image changes, it's even easier. Sequence Composition has also been added to create "stromotion" images, combining multiple images in a single shot to achieve a fun effect.

• Creative controls

In addition to automatic, semi-automatic and manual modes, the G90 offers a range of options that will help the user unleash their creativity, including:

· Post Focus / Focus Stacking and Bracketing Mode

· Versatile photo styles including dynamic monochrome

· Real-time long exposure composition – Live View Composite

Using the power of DFD (Depth From Defocus) AF technology and combining it with 4K Photo, the G90 offers the possibility to change the focus point after taking the image (Post Focus mode). It also has the Focus Stacking function to adjust the depth of field by combining multiple images. Users can also take a maximum of 999 images with different focus points using the new mode, focus braquetting, while the aperture braquetting function allows you to take different depths of field and later select the one you like best.

In addition to the many well-known photographic styles of LUMIX cameras, the new G90 allows you to take dynamic monochromatic images with accentuated lights and shadows, preserving all the details. L. Monochrome D mode is added to standard Monochrome and L. Monochrome and provides darker shadows and tones, with more depth. All monochrome modes can be combined with a grain effect for film results.

The recently added real-time long exposure composition, Live View Composite, is useful for capturing fireworks or stars in the sky. This feature releases the shutter at designated intervals, combining high-brightness areas into a single image, and keeping the background dark, true to reality.

• Powerful performance

A new energy-saving feature has been introduced for the G90, which automatically puts the camera to sleep after a certain period of inactivity detected by the eye sensor. A half-press of the shutter button wakes up the camera back ready to shoot, resulting in a long battery life of approximately 900 images per charge*1.

For even more power, the grip (DMW-BGG1) is also available. In addition to increasing battery life, it adds a set of additional controls for more comfortable vertical shooting. Like the G90, the DMW-BGG1 has a robust, splash- and dust-resistant design*2.

Sharing live photos from the scene has never been easier. Thanks to built-in Bluetooth 4.2 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, the camera keeps friends and family up to date no matter where you are. In addition, Bluetooth Low Energy allows a constant connection with minimal power consumption for simple and fast sharing, as well as optional automatic GPS tagging.
