This camera is the ultimate hybrid for photo and video, with full-sensor 8K recording, Apple ProRes internal 120 4k RAW with continuous focus and support for external SSD recording.

The LUMIX S1RII features a new 44.3 MP BSI CMOS sensor and a high-performance processor with L2 technology, together enabling exceptional quality photos and videos with LUMIX's renowned natural color science.

With revolutionary video performance, it's the first LUMIX camera to record 8K video with 14 stops*1 of dynamic range, expanding the possibilities in video creation. Open Gate recording has been improved, allowing recording in 6.4K, and even up to 8.1K / 7.2K*2 with a future firmware update. In addition, for the first time in the LUMIX S series, it allows internal recording of 5.8K Apple ProRes RAW HQ / ProRes RAW*3 on a CFexpress Type B card. This allows high-quality video data to be recorded with minimal setup, without using external devices or cables, providing greater mobility in individual or small-scale productions.

The Hybrid Phase Difference AF system has evolved, integrating AI tracking technology that quickly and accurately recognizes human faces and eyes, ensuring smooth subject tracking. With high-speed continuous shooting at approximately 40 fps*4 with AF tracking, you can capture moving subjects with razor-sharp and effortless precision. The SH pre-exposure mode allows images to be taken even before the shutter is fully activated, ensuring that no key moments are missed.

The LUMIX's image stabilization system has also been refined, achieving compensation of 8.0 points*5 with in-body stabilization, and 7.0 points*6 at even the longest focal lengths, with Dual I.S. 2. In video, E.I.S. distortion correction minimizes deformation at the edges without clipping the original field of view, providing greater flexibility when working with wide-angle lenses with handheld lenses. Its compact design and free-angle tilting monitor adapt to any shooting style, making it an excellent companion for those looking for both mobility and creative flexibility.

The LUMIX S1RII is compatible with the LUMIX Lab smartphone app, which allows LUTs to be loaded directly into the camera, streamlining the post-production process. In addition, with the launch of the new LUMIX Flow application, the production possibilities in different scenarios, such as short films, documentaries and corporate videos, are expanded, offering tools for the creation of storyboards, shoot management and file organization.
