Shoot in 4K and edit later

Edit videos shot in 4K with just the camera, without the need for a PC, and save them in 2K. Sequences can be edited after recording by zooming, correcting camera shake, chasing the main subject, etc.

High-definition 4K image capture gives you realistic and very natural images. 4K lense ranges from 25mm* wide-angle to 600mm telephoto with 24x zoom achieved thanks to the 4-unit lens system. The large 1/2.5-type (1/2.5-inch) sensor and bright lense F1.8 offer exceptional low-light performance. You'll get unprecedented image quality every time. 

Designed specifically for video recording

Whether you're shooting zoomed or wide, you can capture footage without having to change lense just by turning on the camera. The ergonomically designed grip fits comfortably in the hand, allowing you to record comfortably for long periods of time without getting tired, even with one hand.

Hybrid O.I.S. + 5-Axis

It uses five-axis correction to completely suppress the blurring effect of the entire angle of view, from wide-angle to the most powerful zoom. The O.I.S. ball system reduces wear on the drive section and significantly improves the correction of small amplitude hand tremor.

4K cropping to create better 2K footage

When zooming takes subjects out of the frame or causes hand shaking, 4K cropping fixes the problem. 2K quality cropping from 4K images can be easily made using only the camera, right after recording.

Microphone with zoom and wind shield

A special damping material is located in the space between the microphone and the microphone network to suppress wind noise and obtain a clear recording at all times.

The USB-C port allows power delivery and charging with a mobile battery when the camera is turned off, as well as with the included AC adapter.

Crisp 4K images

The HC-VX3 captures UHD 4K at 24 and 30 fps, Full HD video at speeds up to 1080p60, and stills up to 25.9 MP.

For HD recording, HDR (high dynamic range) and creative modes such as time-lapse, silent film, 8mm film and miniature effects are available.

24x optical zoom and 1/2.5" BSI MOS sensor

A lense with 24x optical zoom (25 to 600 mm, 35 mm equivalent focal length) and a large 1/2.5" BSI MOS sensor provide impressive image capture, even in low light. With Smart Zoom, 32x zoom is offered in 4K and 48x range in Full HD.

Image Stabilization Systems (OIS)

The HC-VX3 offers Active Mode Stabilization, 5-axis Hybrid OIS+, and Ball OIS, allowing you to capture blur-free video, even when you're on the move.

On-camera editing

With in-camera editing, the HC-VX3 lets you create captivating videos without having to carry your laptop with you. Shoot in 4K, retouch your images with zoom, vibration reduction, and more, and then save the edited version in 2K.

4K UHD cropping

Expand your creativity with the HC-VX3's ability to trim HD videos from 4K footage.

Cropping options include automatic face tracking, manual subject tracking, fixed close-ups, 20- and 40-second pans or zooms, and post-capture stabilization. 

Audio Options

Record MP4 AAC 2-channel or Dolby 2/5.1-channel audio using the built-in stereo microphone with surround sound, zoom, and focus features.

A 3.5mm mic/line input allows you to add audio from an external source like a mixer.

User-friendly design
