Designed for nature enthusiasts who want to pack in the light without sacrificing image quality, the PENTAX A-Series AD WP compact binoculars deliver clear, bright images weighing just 10.6 ounces. Its BAK4 ceiling prisms have phase correction to improve image contrast and improve color reproduction. All optics are anti-reflective and fully multi-layered to maximise light transmission, producing the brightest views possible.

An asymmetrical hinge design allows the binoculars to fold much smaller than typical center-hinged optics. To reduce weight, the housing is made of corrosion- and impact-resistant fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate polymer. The material is also temperature-resistant, allowing it to be used in extreme climates while reducing the expansion and contraction that large temperature changes can cause (and which can cause optical components to slip out of collimation over time). Their optical tubes are filled with nitrogen and sealed with O-rings, making them submersible up to 3.3' and fog-proof in all weather conditions.
