Lens Samyang 10mm f2.8 ED AS NCS CS

Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS is the ideal tool for photographing interiors, architecture and landscapes. It provides an exceptionally wide field of view of up to 109.5 degrees and a rectilinear image mapping function. Due to the fast speed of the lens (f/2.8), it can also be used in low light conditions, making it a very useful tool for sports photography and photojournalism.

The lens optics consist of 14 elements divided into 10 groups, 2 ASpherical lenses and a low dispersion glass lens. During the prototype development process, the lens has been equipped with an integrated sunshade that ensures a more compact size of the lens and reduces its weight to approximately 160 grams*.

NCS (Nano Coating System) – Nanocrystal Coating System

Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS is the first Samyang lens to offer an anti-glare nanocrystal coating system. This technology provides a lower reflection factor than the (U)MC system, as the coating is now applied more evenly over the lens surface. The benefits of the nano crystal layer include better light transmission, increased resistance to reflections and higher contrast, which translates into an extraordinary optical resolution of the lens.
