The Noctivid 10x42 olive green binoculars from LEICA represent the perfect combination of form and function in a single lens. They are designed with a variety of complementary technologies to produce bright and clear neutral color images, while fitting comfortably in the hand for long, fatigue-free glass sessions.

Noctivid's performance begins with the use of SCHOTT High Transmission glass with a 12-element lens configuration and its HighLux-System multi-reflective anti-reflective coatings, followed by compact phase-corrected roof prisms. These features produce bright, clear, high-contrast images with accurate color reproduction across the entire visible spectrum. Internal baffles limit scattered light in optical tubes, which can affect clarity and contrast, while an innovative lens design and internal field flatteners ensure edge-to-edge clarity across the entire wide-angle field of view. The wide viewing angle and relatively high magnification of 10x allow you to enjoy panoramic views while at the same time giving you the ability to make detailed observations of distant objects. The wide viewing angle also helps mitigate the common disorientation that often accompanies large magnifications when using optics on undulating seas or aerial platforms.

Noctivid binoculars are manufactured with a double hinge/open bridge that provides additional grip surface area while reducing overall weight without sacrificing strength or stability. Its chassis is made of a strong and lightweight magnesium alloy that, when combined with the bridge configuration, further reduces weight while shifting the center of gravity to the natural hand position, resulting in a better driving experience with greatly reduced fatigue, allowing you to hold binoculars for long periods of time. To withstand the rigors of extensive outdoor use, all metal surfaces are treated with a patented varnish coating to resist corrosion and wear, and optical tubes are filled with nitrogen and sealed with O-rings to make them fog-proof, waterproof and submersible.
