The ultravid 8x42 HD-Plus LEICA prismatics,adds the improvement of technologies and materials to create an optic with clear and bright images of the entire field of view.

Abrasion resistant, durable high coating (HDC), and the Aquadura hydrophobic coating on the outer lens protect surfaces and make water and oil at the heel out for easier cleaning and clearer vision.

To reduce user fatigue during long-glassing sessions, the chassis is made of a lightweight, durable magnesium alloy with a central titanium hinge shaft. Nitrogen optical tubes to get fog-resistant and sealed performance so that the submersible prismatics for 16.4" or 0.5 bar pressure. It has ergonomic thumb notches at the bottom of the prismatics along with protective rubber armor provide a comfortable non-slip grip. A lubrication-free focusing system provides fast and precise focusing, with PETP-Discs to provide smooth movement throughout the wide operating temperature range.
