Samyang Xeen 35mm | Xeen 35mm lens
The 35mm T1.5 Samyang Xeen lens is built specifically for use as a cinema lens. Features an internal focus design so the lens doesn't change size while framing
The lens incorporates double-sided focus scales marked on the feet, with the scales of the double-sided diaphragm. The 11-blade iris provides a rounded opening for natural-looking touches and bokeh. The lens is a manual focus and iris lens, and has no autofocus or auto iris capability. It incorporates focus of a cinema and iris gears that share the same position through the lenses of the Xeen set. The diameter of 114 mm common front allows a quick lens changes when using a matte case and focusing accessories. The focus ring rotates 200° near infinity focus. This gives you a high degree of accuracy when adjusting the focus.
- This 35mm lens has an image circle that covers a full-frame sensor. When mounted on a camera with a full-frame sensor that provides you with what is considered a bit of a wide viewing angle.
- The lens features a metal construction to withstand the rigors of daily production, and incorporates a stand that can help ease the port strain of the camera lens.
- Dual right and side focus and left t-stop scales allow your focus button to work from either side of the lens, without having to flip the lens on the mount, or in front of rising numbers.
- Each lens in the XEEN ring positions series of common focus actions and iris gear, which accelerates the lens changes as accessories such as units follow the focus or iris motors do not have to be re-positioned.
- The 114mm common front diameter allows for a quick lens changes as you don't have to swap out anti-reflection foam rings or adapters to use the same matte case.
- The non-rotating front allows the use of clip and optional mask boxes.
- Silent switch aperture ring diaphragm strip smooth.
- A minimum focusing distance of 13" allows you to get to know your subject up close.
