The AG-CX350 is part of the latest generation of professional 4K cameras and expands the handheld camera's usability beyond conventional recording and newsgathering applications, accommodating a wide range of professional needs.
The lens angle is the widest in its class, at 24.5mm*1 at the widest end, and allows you to shoot wide-angle images with minimal distortion, without using a conversion lens. The 20x optical zoom covers up to 490mm telephoto lens in all modes. In addition, the i.Zoom allows you to continuously zoom up to 32x in HD or up to 24x in UHD from the telephoto end, without diminishing the quality of the resolution. The AG-CX350 also includes a 2x/ 5x/ 10x digital zoom.*2
Thanks to HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma)*3, the AG-AC350 supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) and offers wide dynamic range on HDR-compatible TV monitors. One of eight gamma modes (HD, SD, FILMLIKE 1, FILMLIKE 2, FILMLIKE 3, FILM-REC, VIDEO-REC, HLG) can be selected.
The new V-LOG colour gamut inherited from the VariCam series allows for greater flexibility in post-production workflows and achieves a strong visual style and a great cinematic look. By implementing the same logarithmic color gamut used in PANASONIC's line of digital motion picture cameras, the same LUTs (lookup tables) can be applied.
The 1.0-type MOS sensor (approximately 15,030,000 pixels) offers an outstanding depth of field and an excellent balance between image quality and sensitivity. It supports various formats, such as UHD (3840 x 2160), FHD, HD, and SD, and offers uncropped images in all modes. This MOS sensor also features a high sensitivity of F12 (60Hz)/F13 (50Hz) (in both UHD and FHD in high-sensitivity mode).
Built-in five-axis hybrid image stabilizer
Intelligent AF & Focus Assist
Three manual rings
Wired/wireless remote control functionality
New HEVC codec for 10-bit UHD/60p recording and high image quality at a low bit rate
The camera allows you to record 10-bit UHD/60p videos and high image quality to an SD memory card. It also employs a new high-efficiency HEVC codec (LongGOP, 10-bit, 4:2:0, MOV).
In UHD, it can be recorded at a variable frame rate (VFR) between 1 and 50fps. In FHD, it can be recorded at super slow speed at a maximum of 100fps. Both modes allow you to capture high-quality, 10-bit, full-frame images without cropping the image area even at high frame rates.
Compatible with MOV/AVCHD/P2 MXF file formats*
Freeze Frame (Still Image Capture)
Dual memory card slots improve recording reliability
Youtube-and-Facebook_live for AG-AC10
RTMP/RTSP compliant HD broadcast
The AG-CX350 can be used for live coverage of concerts and sporting events, as well as live streaming of breaking news. Compatible with Facebook, YouTube, and other streaming services.
The Industry's First Camera Equipped with NDI Mode | HX *4, allows video transmission and camera control over an IP connection, without using an external converter. The camera can be integrated into larger systems that work in conjunction with NDI-equipped PANASONIC PTZ camera systems and the AV-HLC100 Live Production Center.
Added support for 5G/4G connectivity to transfer mobile data on the go. PANASONIC introduces USB Tethering with mobile phones (iPhone and Android) for live IP streaming and file transfer* on the CX Series, simultaneously charging the phone's battery. Using the shared hotspot feature, the camera is ready for all data transmission technologies that may be included in mobile phones in the future.

*1: Equivalence with 35 mm. The AG-CX350's 24.5mm angle is the widest in the industry for UHD/FHD (16:9). In the category of cameras with integrated lenses, the PANASONIC AG-UX180 has the widest angle in the industry at 24mm in UHD/24p (17:9). For UHD/FHD (16:9), 25.4mm is the widest angle in the industry. (Both values correspond to a PANASONIC study conducted in January 2019)
*2: If digital zoom is used, the image quality decreases as the magnification percentage increases
*3 The HLG specification was jointly developed by Japan's NHK and the BBC. It is defined in ARIB STD-B67 and ITU Rec.
*4 NDI: Network Device Interface, a technology of NewTek, Inc. Industry's First NDI-Compatible Camera | HX. January 2019 (according to a PANASONIC study). To use this feature, an activation code provided by NewTek is required. Codes can be purchased on this website: http://new.tk/ndi_panasonic
