The main features of Profoto A1 Gel Kit

This rigid pocket protective case contains four color correction gel filters. The gel filters are inserted into a receptacle that can be attached to the A1's intelligent magnetic mount. The whole process is super fast and easy.

Gel filters are made with high-quality rigid materials, so they are sturdy and durable. They can also be combined, so it is possible to use them with other Light Shaping Tools such as, for example, the Dome Diffuser. Thanks to this option, you can be incredibly creative with lighting.

Gel filters allow you to transform the flash naturally to create an ambient light that mimics indoor lights or warm sunlight. There are three gel filters of type "Quarter CTO" and "Half CTO" and "Full CTO" clearly indicated; thanks to them, the color temperature produced by the flash will naturally combine with warm light and make the skin look luminous and healthy, instead of pale. When you take photos in places with fluorescent light, you also have a "Half green" gel filter available that reduces the risk of magenta colors seeping into the images.
