The Profoto Softbox 1x4 or strip is set up in seconds thanks to its integrated speed ring and creates a soft and impressive light. Its design produces a soft light with long shadow edges on the long side and a harder light with short shadow edges on the short side, making it ideal for edge or edge lighting. This essential light shaper enhances the curves and profiles of objects and effectively separates the subject from the background.

With an all-in-one mounting design, Profoto Softbox 1x4 is incredibly easy to set up and features a quick folding and unfolding solution. In addition, it provides softness and dimmable light intensity through its removable and interchangeable diffuser. The recessed front offers an even distribution of natural-looking light, and because it's heat-resistant, it's also compatible with flashes that use halogens as continuous light (up to 500W halogens).

Note: When used with ProHead at power level 10 (2400W) in conjunction with continuous light (500W) in full effect, a maximum of 8 flashes per minute is recommended to prevent the speedring from getting too hot to the touch.
