The design of the GR III Street Edition is a clear commitment to street photography, which demands the highest technical performance offered by this camera.

To reflect the rough asphalt of the streets, the camera body has been treated with a metallic gray finish, with an elegantly grainy texture created by the repeated spraying of droplets on the coating that covers the camera body. Although smooth in appearance, this special texture helps to improve the camera's grip. A striking orange-yellow lens ring accentuates the unique design.

In addition, the GR III Street Edition is delivered in a Special Limited kit with other exclusive accessories. On the side superior, the number 28 is printed in orange-yellow to highlight the camera's angle of view, perfect for street photography. A dark gray genuine leather hand strap with an orange-yellow finish completes the kit.

Using the new "Full Press Snap" feature by LCD setting the shutter can be activated using the touchscreen, canceling autofocus and setting the focus to the pre-assigned Snap focus distance. This allows maximum responsiveness to capture unrepeatable moments, which is the essence of street photography and further highlights the uniqueness of the GR III in this class. To add the finishing touch, an original shutter-off screen has been designed that includes the Street Edition logo when the camera is switched off.

This camera provides all the features inherent to the GR III: speed and easy operation, along with high-performance equipment and perfect image quality, in an extremely compact and well-built body. This makes the camera not only an ultimate tool for reportage and instant photography, but also a reliable companion for all those who want to take their passion for photography to the street every day.

The camera, RICOH GR III Street Edition in metallic gray, is limited to 3,500 units worldwide and will be available from the second half of July 2020.
