A desirable telephoto lens for Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless cameras, Samyang 's 85mm f/1.8 lens combines a sleek design with a brilliant f/1.8 maximum aperture for depth-of-field control and increased versatility in harsh lighting conditions. The optical design features an extra-low dispersion element, which reduces chromatic aberrations and color stripes, and a high refractive index element to control spherical aberrations to improve sharpness. An Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied to increase contrast by suppressing lens flare and ghosting. In addition, the lens has a manual focus design for precise focusing up to 2.1' and a nine-leaf diaphragm contributes to smooth bokeh quality.
