The new AF 135mm F1.8 FE telephoto lens is optimized for portrait photography, landscape, astrophotography and video recording, as well as including the main features of Samyang lenses: focus lock button, configurable switch and focus limiter switch.

With this new product, the series formed by the 24mm, 35mm, 45mm, 75mm and 135mm focal lengths, from wide angle to telephoto, Samyang completed.

• superior Resolution: With the most advanced optical technology, Samyang has developed the first long-exposure telephoto lens that offers excellent corner-to-corner resolution. The AF 135mm F1.8 FE has a viewing angle of 18.9º for full-frame and 12.5º for APS-C and a bright maximum aperture of F1.8 in all areas of the image, making it a favorite of users who use full-frame cameras.
• Small depth of field with exceptional bokeh: The lens employs a wide aperture that produces smooth background blur. The shallow depth of field allows the subject to be effectively highlighted from the background. In addition, the AF 135mm F1.8 is equipped with a UA (ultra-precise aspherical lens) lens to create a sleek and natural bokeh effect.
• Fast and quiet AF performance: Autofocus operates smoothly and quietly in video recordings, allowing you to follow your subject accurately and quickly. In addition, it meets the expectations of both photographers and videographers as it allows a more precise and silent control of the focusing lenses.
• Improved operability: The AF 135mm F1.8 FE lens meets professional requirements for control and reliability for both stills and recordings. Customization features include:
• Focus hold button: allows you to keep the lens locked at the desired focal length. The user can assign functions, such as "Eye AF", in the camera body settings.
• Configurable switch: allows you to adjust the aperture of the diaphragm simply by rotating the focus ring. Using the Samyang Lens Station as an option, the user can determine the preferred setting mode. *More features will be added in the future through firmware updates.
• Focus Limiter Switch: This option only works in AF mode. Move the switch forward or backward to select the focus range: Full, 0.69m – 2m, 1.5m – ∞.
• Minimum focusing distance of 0.69m: Although this 135mm telephoto lens allows effective control of optical aberration at all focal lengths, it makes it possible to achieve a minimum focusing distance of only 0.69 meters and a maximum magnification of 0.243x to capture scenes of proximity. Small objects can be captured with remarkable resolution and producing beautiful background bokeh.
• Modern design and special weather sealing: The versatility of the AF 135mm F1.8 FE has been reinforced taking into account not only the design of the lens, but the environment in which the user is located. It has a rubber focus ring with micro-stamping. Its hermetic finish protects the lens against adverse weather conditions, such as light rain, snow or dust.
