7.5mm T3.8 V-CSC UMC Samyang lens

The Ultra-Wide Lens Samyang 7.5mm T3.8 V-CSC UMC for Micro Four Thirds Monte is a fisheye manual focus lens optimized for digital cinematography. The compact lens features a Thirds Micro Four mount and offers an ultra-wide 180º view angle. The fisheye effect is useful for capturing sports stadiums, large halls, highly packaged city sights and similar scenery in a deformed, dramatically. For use with a focus tracking unit, the focus and aperture rings feature industry standard 0.8 gearing. The aperture ring is also click-off to allow soft irises to be pulled during filming. Focus, aperture, and depth of field markings are on the side of the lens to help lenses, which normally operate on the camera side. An aspherical and three extra low dispersion (ED) on the lens have been incorporated into the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion to produce sharper images. In addition, it features the lens design' incorporates a petal sunshade and an Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) has been applied to the lens elements to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and shadows for better light transmission and more high-contrast images.
