Remembering passwords, entering codes, and downloading software slows down your work. Powered by ArmorLock, your phone is the key. Use your phone's biometric authentication to easily and quickly access content at the touch of a button.

• Access control

Easily control who accesses the disk so you can work with other users seamlessly and safely. Do you need to send the G-DRIVE ArmorLock SSD to a user who is in another location? Before you do so, you can securely authorize the other user's access to the disk using their favorite email or messaging service.

• Robust disk management

With the ArmorLock application, you can quickly format the disk and choose one of the supported file systems. When the content is no longer needed, use the Secure Erase feature to reliably remove it from the disk at the touch of a button. Don't know where you left your G-DRIVE ArmorLock SSD? The app will show you where you last used it on a map.

• High-level data security

The G-DRIVE ArmorLock SSD is delivered completely locked, so it cannot be accessed in any way until it is unlocked with the app. When you eject the disk, it automatically crashes, making its contents inaccessible. The G-DRIVE ArmorLock SSD is designed with 256-bit AES-XTS hardware encryption, plus NIST P-256 elliptic curve-based key management, to deliver advanced data protection that doesn't slow down.

The G-DRIVE ArmorLock SSD incorporates a cool aluminum core designed to expel heat from the internal disk. This helps minimize performance loss and enables sustained professional transfer speeds of up to 1000 MB/s read and write.2
