The smallrig 1842 tilting monitor bracket is designed to attach to a cage or any type of mounting plate that has two 1/4"-20 threaded holes. The two 1/4"-20 screws of the bracket are placed in a slot where they can be moved sideways as needed to match your cage/plate. When you remove the stand from the monitor, the screws do not come out, so as soon as you remove it, you can simply throw it in your bag; the screws will remain in place. In the superior part, the monitor bracket provides a 1/4"-20 mounting screw on a padded platform.
And in a simple design, the monitor stand tilts the monitor back and forth 90° in each direction with enough tension so that nothing needs to be screwed. or tight. Holds 5" and 7" monitors weighing up to 3.3 pounds. The 1/4"-20 screw on the superior is secured by a wheel. To tighten the wheel, an Allen key is included that is inserted into a slot in the wheel from the front.
