This update to the First Generation Light Dome, the Light Dome II features higher quality diffusion fabric, a rapid construction and decay system, an included honeycomb egg box, and several added improvements.

Advanced dissemination materials

The Light Dome II comes with two layers of ultra-soft diffusion: Magic Cloth and Silk Cloth. Combined, these materials convert hard COB light into a soft, beautiful light that provides a very uniform wrap around the subject, making the Light Dome II the perfect diffuser for portraits, interviews, documentaries, music videos, and narrations.

Easy to assemble, the dome can now be easily installed and disassembled in less than 1 minute, new versions of the Light Domes feature a new generation of fast-release speed rings that respond to the needs of creatives who are always on the move and need a diffusion solution that can be set up quickly.

Gel support

Light Dome's Generation 2 now includes a gel holder that is carefully placed to maximize the capabilities of your gels and minimize the amount of material needed.

*Caution: When using color gels with powerful LED lights, such as the C300D Aputure , the heat will cause the filter gels to become distorted or burned after a period of time. It is recommended to change the new sheets of the color filters once every two hours during constant use; It is recommended to use ROSCO or LEE for best results.

The 855mm Light Dome II uses 16 bars that create 32 axis points, allowing for an exceptionally round beam of light, almost a perfect circle. It includes a studio-grade fabric grid to help focus on your light beam angle at 40 degrees.
