Features of SMAD-P5 Shoe

The SMAD-P5 Multi-Interface (MI) Shoe Adapter allows the URX-P40 wireless receiver to be conveniently and wirelessly connected to compatible camcorders or interchangeable lens cameras that include a Multi-Interface (MI) Shoe. Transmits audio signals directly from the wireless receiver to the camera without the need to connect any cables. The adapter also supports direct digital audio recording from compatible camcorders, saving A/D and D/A conversion phases to deliver high sound quality with low noise. The SMAD-P5 allows the wireless receiver to use the camcorder as a power source via the multi-interface shoe, while the receiver's power on and off can be controlled directly from the camera.

The SMAD-P5 is compatible with the XDCAM camcorders PXW-Z280/Z190, PXW-X180/X160, PXW-X280/X200*, PXW-Z150**, PXW-FX9, PXW-FS7, PXW-FS7II, PXW-FS5, PXW-FS5II, PXW-Z90 and PXW-X70, NXCAM HXR-190 camcorders. NX5R**, HXR-NX80, HXR-MC2500 and HXR-MC88, ILME-FX6V and ILME-FX3**** Cinema Line cameras, FDR-AX60, FDR-AX45 and NEX-VG30 Handycam****, α7II, α7III, α7IV, α7RII, α7RIII, α7RIV, α7S, α7SII, α7SIII, α7C, α9, α9II, α1, α6600, and α99II with analog output adjustment. Digital connection is available for the PXW-FX9, PXW-Z280/Z190***, ILME-FX6V, ILME-FX3, α7RIV, α7SIII, α7C, α9II, and α1. The PXW-FX9, PXW-Z280/Z190*** and ILME-FX6V can display the wireless microphone status on the LCD screen or viewfinder (as of March 2022).
