FíRIN 20mm F2 FE AF is an autofocus version of the existing super wide-angle Fírin 20mm manual focus lens for the full-frame SONY E-mount. Being specially designed for the E-mount of SONY and adopting the same optical design as in the MF model, the FíRIN series now offers more options for end users to choose from based on the purpose and style of shooting.

• Compact size

In terms of weight and size FíRIN 20mm F2 FE AF is designed to fit the electronic mount camera SONY. • Optical performance

Being optimized for full-size camera sensors in terms of size and resolution capability, the optical design adopts 2 aspherical elements and 3 Super-low dispersion glass molded lenses to significantly reduce any type of aberration including spherical aberration, distortion and chromatic aberration while ensuring amazing resolution and performance even at wide aperture.

• Functionality

Following the basic development concept of the previous model, FíRIN 20mm F2 FE AF becomes compatible with autofocus and other camera functions, providing perfect functionality and usability for the photographer.

• Ring-shaped ultrasonic autofocus motor

For the FíRIN 20 mm F2 FE AF drive system adopts an ultra-resistant and silent ring-shaped ultrasonic motor. Together with the GMR sensor, the AF system performs fast and precise focusing.

Full AF system compatibility

FíRIN 20mm F2 FE AF is fully compatible with the Fast Hybrid AF system. In all AF mode settings, including DMF, FIFIN 20mm F2 FE AF provides the same autofocus performance as with common AF E-mount lenses. Fine tuning of manual focus is also possible.

• MF support function

Precise focusing supports support for MF assist function, when fine focus adjustment is operated by manual rotation of the focus ring with simultaneous interlocking with image magnification function and displaying the bar distance on the monitor.

• Optical correction

Due to the ability to transmit data through electrical contacts, the camera obtains the necessary data from the lens chip to correct shading, distortion and side chromatic aberrations. Optical corrections can also be made by the camera.

• Image stabilization

By transmitting FíRIN 20mm F2 focal length data, FE AF can take full advantage of image stabilization in the camera body.

• Aperture completely controlled by the camera

The camera system takes care of the lens aperture and provides full compatibility with all shooting modes.
