The SIGMA 14mm T2 weighs around 1.4/1.5gr and has a compact design, dust and water resistant and the SIGMA 14mm T2 is suitable for 8K image capture, it will also be available for SONY E, PL-mount and CANON EF mounts

FF high-speed fixed lenses from SIGMA combine the same high-quality optics and mechanics of its Global Vision line of fixed lenses in a cinema-oriented design. This 14mm EF-mount fixed lense from CANON is the widest focal length in the series, offering full-frame sensor coverage, 6-8K resolution and a T2 aperture in a relatively lightweight form factor; it is also available in PL and SONY E mounts. What sets these lenses apart from the standard high-speed fixed lenses from SIGMA are the fully luminescent markings. When shooting in dark or low-light environments, camera operators and focus-takers will be able to easily discern the lens markings without the need for distracting light. A common 95 mm front diameter and similar physical attributes across the lens line make it easier and faster to mount lens accessories such as matte boxes, focus tracking and lens control motors.

The 9-blade iris produces pleasing out-of-focus bokeh effects and overlapping images and flare have been minimized. Color reproduction is standardized for easy color correction. Each lens in the range offers consistent lens gear positions and 180° rotation of the focusing cylinder. FF High-Speed Primes also feature a click-free iris with linear markings, dampers on each gear ring for quiet operation, industry-standard 0.8 modulus gear pitch and engraved markings for durability. Some markings are made with luminous paint for easy visibility in low light conditions.

To relieve stress on your camera's lense mount, a 1/4"-20 support foot is built into the water and dust resistant metal lense body. If you wish to adapt your lense FF High-Speed Prime to a different camera, the CANON EF and SONY E mount versions can be converted from one to the other at an authorized SIGMA service center (not available for PL mounts).
