The RMT-P1BT works with the camera's built-in Bluetooth® receiver, without the need for a wired connection or an additional receiver. The camera connector covers can remain closed to ensure maximum protection against dust and moisture2, providing a high level of overall reliability to the system.

The precise operation of the buttons, with clear tactile feedback, is combined with a refined ergonomic design to facilitate safe and responsive control. The remote itself is designed to be easy to hold and use, contributing to smooth, error-free operation.

It includes the essential controls of the camera: focus buttons for precise control of even the most subtle changes, a lock switch that prevents accidental activation during transport, start and stop of movie recording, and digital on/zoom. Also included are two custom buttons that mimic the functions of the C1 and AF-ON buttons on the camera body.
