With buttons to control focus, start and stop video recording, and digital power/zoom. It even has two custom buttons that mimic the functions of the C1 and AF-ON buttons on the body.

BLUETOOTH wireless technology

Bluetooth® communication enables reliable remote control even in bright sunlight or when there are obstacles between the controller and the camera. Two-way communication allows for additional functionality that would not be possible with a transmission-only device, such as a status indication directly on the remote control.

Since communication is wireless rather than optical, reliability and responsiveness continue to prevail even in situations where the path is hindered.

Clear visual response

A high-visibility LED indicator flashes or lights up continuously to show shutter status, movie recording, and autofocus. This is an obvious advantage in situations where the operator does not have direct access to the camera in use.

Ideal for harsh environments

The RMT-P1BT works with the camera's built-in Bluetooth® receiver, without the need for a wired connection or an additional receiver. The camera connector covers can remain closed to ensure maximum protection against dust and moisture2, providing a high level of overall reliability to the system.

Precise control for effective capture

The precise operation of the buttons, with clear tactile feedback, is combined with a refined ergonomic design to facilitate safe and responsive control. The remote itself is designed to be easy to hold and use, contributing to smooth, error-free operation.

Full control

It includes the essential controls of the camera: focus buttons for precise control of even the most subtle changes, a lock switch that prevents accidental activation during transport, start and stop of movie recording, and digital on/zoom. Also included are two custom buttons that mimic the functions of the C1 and AF-ON buttons on the camera body.
