DGX Kenko HD Teleconverter for NIKON
Located between the camera body and the lens, the teleconverter contains an optical assembly that effectively increases the focal length of any lens used. The teleplus HD DGX 1.4X KENKO converter has the effect of multiplying the focal length of the lens by 1.4X, turning a 300mm lens into a 420mm equivalent.

The DGX 1.4X HD converters incorporate the genuine Gate Array IC (Integrated Circuits), a unique converter circuitry that keeps the signal between the camera body and the lens integrated. The composition of 3~5 elements manufactured with high-quality multi-coated optical glass are supplied by HOYA Corporation, the world's largest manufacturer of optical glass.
AF autofocus with the TELEPLUS HD DGX 1.4X is possible with lenses that have an aperture of F4 or brighter. Note that the AF will work properly only if there is enough light and contrast on the subject to activate the camera's AF sensors correctly. (Manual focus may be required when using lenses with smaller open aperture values of f4.)
TELEPLUS HD DGX converters have updated their circuits to record EXIF data and image taking metadata more accurately.
Lens performance has been drastically improved compared to the MC4 and MC7 models. The improvement in resolution is especially marked, 150%, respectively, compared to the current MC4 model.
