Tether Tools' black USB 2.0 tetherpro active extension cable allows for longer anchoring distances without worrying about signal errors or corrupt data transfers. With this cable, signals and data transfers entering and leaving the cable are buffered to ensure consistent signal quality, meeting the highest USB electrical and timing specifications.

Passive cables over 4.88 m (16 ft) in length, for the purpose of transmitting data, may cause signal or noise errors and are not recommended. Up to four active USB extensions and a 4.57m (15') passive USB can be daisy-chained before any drop in signal or quality is detected.

• The setup is simple, just plug the male end of the cable into the computer and then plug your camera or the USB cable from another device into the female end of this cable so that the repeater is closer to the device and not the computer.
• Signal drop can be avoided by daisy-chaining up to four active USB extensions and a 15' (4.57m) passive USB together.
