For that the JerkStopper Protector for cable union is designed which is formed by two parts, which separate and grip the two cables and then rejoin providing a very resistant and secure joint.

JerkStopper cable join protector
Tether Tools' orange JerkStopper JS026ORG extension lock is an effective cable and cord locking device that keeps cable ends protected from disconnection, damage and electrical hazards. It can be used in apps for photo shoots, computers, studios, and more.
The clam shell design allows you to close the JerkStopper extension lock around each end of a cable or cord and then rotate it to lock the wires together. It is compatible with USB extension cables, HDMI cables with couplers and power cables for lighting and tools. In addition, the hard plastic protective housing is weatherproof (non-submersible) and protects cables from dust, dirt and physical damage.
