A short telephoto lens that completes Fujifilm's  ATX-M main line for X-system at a very affordable price. With a perfect focal length for portraits, combined with the great image quality, its excellent reproduction and reliable colors.

The atx-m series targets the growing market for high-speed mirrorless cameras with high-quality optical lenses and yet cost- superior performance.

Preserving the advanced technology of TOKINA (atx), the new series is marked with the letter "m", which means "motif" and "mirrorless", motivation that TOKINA gives the photographer to create unique and impressive photos with mirrorless cameras.

Tokina atx-m 56mm F1.4 X - with a viewing angle of approx. 85mm in full frame (standard angle) is designed as a very popular optical equipment for amateur or even semi-professional photographers to capture portraits, street portraits, street snapshots and landscapes in fixed or video mode.

• Optical performance

CCI stands for Color Contribution Index, which measures the light transmission values of the lens. In particular, it is a three-number system that describes the degree to which a lens is expected to change the overall color of a photograph relative to that obtained without lenses in the system. Compared to the location of the ISO standard point, the actual value point tends to be closer to warm tones (yellow, red), but stays within ideal coordinates that demonstrate the natural and well-balanced color reproduction capability of the lens.

The basic property of the mirrorless camera is compactness and lightness. Incorporating a metal mount and barrels for build quality, we managed to create the lightweight and small lens, a perfect match with Fujifilm's X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras.

Tokina atx-m 56mm F1.4 X is fully communicable with the camera body to support image stabilization in the 5-axis body.

• No-click aperture ring

Fujifilm's design philosophy has always been camera dials and emulating a traditional movie-making experience. TOKINA atx-m 56mm F1.4 X incorporates a no-click aperture ring that allows users to smoothly control the aperture manually of f/1.4 af/16 in video mode, but also automatically (A position) through camera settings in fixed mode.

The atx-m 56mm F1.4 X completes the trio line covering the main focal lengths: wide, standard and semi-tele to satisfy 3 important genres in photography: landscape, street photography and portraiture.

• Lens hood BH-525

The sunshade of the BH-525 lens is made of metal and can be stored on the lens by placing it on the back. It has a relatively large size, almost doubles the lens when the sunshade is placed, but fits well with the overall look of the lens. As with most lens sunshades, it can protect the front element from unwanted bumps or scratches, while also preventing any unwanted artifacts from incoming light.
