The 175F-2 MANFROTTO cold shoe spring clamp is a lightweight and versatile clamp that allows the user to securely place key fixtures in off-camera locations that would not always be possible with a traditional stand solution, such as a lighting stand. The clamp features a number of useful attachment points that allow the user to connect essential lightweight accessories such as a Speedlite flash, a small LED panel or an audio microphone.

Weighing only 350 g, the clamp incorporates an extremely strong spring mechanism that ensures a firm grip on a variety of different surfaces or objects, with a payload of up to 2 kg. Clamp jaws are extended to fit a maximum diameter of 40 mm, allowing you to easily attach it to a pole, shelf, the back of a chair or even a tree branch, to name just a few of the many possibilities. The inside of the spring clamp jaws features a number of durable hard rubber studs that provide greater grip, particularly useful on unevenly shaped surfaces.

Attached to the clamp is a reliable multi-position MANFROTTO center ball joint with full swivel and tilt movement. Once the clamp is attached to the chosen surface, a single locking knob on the ball joint allows the user to precisely place the attachment at the correct angle and with a simple twist lock it firmly into position. On the superior part of the ball joint is the acclaimed MANFROTTO shoe mounting mechanism. This unique stand allows the user to easily and securely attach the chosen accessory to the kneecap. Simply unscrew the ring to open the shoe, slide the accessory, and then squeeze the ring to lock it firmly on the spherical head.

In addition to the spherical head, the clamp also features a 5/8" (16mm) bushing and a 5/8" (16mm) spigot with 3/8" female thread that offers the option to place an additional accessory or for the clamp to be attached to a light bracket or support arm.
