The Tripod 290 Xtra + Rotula 3 way is the perfect solution in terms of stability for amateur photographers.
The 290 Xtra is a 3-section tripod, the largest in the 290 range, with aluminum leg tubes and a superior structure that improves rigidity, durability and performance. The tension of its locking levers of the leg sections can be adjusted so that they can be tightened to counteract any effects of age or use, thus keeping the tripod fully functional throughout its long service life. A key feature of this tripod is the possibility of positioning the legs at four different angles to maximize creativity in our shots. Its fast central column adds flexibility by extending the maximum-minimum height. A new rubber heater ensures a comfortable grip and maximum ergonomics. The tripod is delivered with a specific shoulder bag that ensures comfortable portability in any situation.
The new 290 Xtra is available in kit with the new updated version of the 3-way 804 photographic ball joint with quick release shoe, specifically designed to achieve a compact size and achieve great portability. This patented ball joint ensures accurate framing and solid support of medium-weight camera equipment. One of the highlights of this new ball joint is its retractable motion control levers that retract when not in use, thus achieving a more compact size for easier transport. Its newly designed ergonomic controls are made of rubber with excellent grip. The 3 way ball joint is made of Adapto, a lightweight polymer that allows a light weight to be maintained while ensuring high mechanical strength for robust support.
