The VANGUARD VEO 3 233APS aluminum tripod is a 3-section tripod with a light weight of less than 2kg, but offers great stability thanks to its CNC construction. It is one of the lightest 3-section options with VEO PH-36S multipurpose head for photo, video and telescope.

The VANGUARD VEO 3 233APS tripod is stable, durable, easy to use, and reliable. Maximizes the weight/load capacity ratio compared to most tripods on the market. One of the legs converts to a monopod in 3 easy steps, allowing you to quickly pick up and attach the stand for quick action shots. The quiet, easy-to-clean locks thanks to the three adjustable angles offer numerous options for height and uneven terrain. They include a low-angle adapter, perfect for macro photography, or you can also use the reversible center column. In addition, in the canopy of the VEO 3 233APS you will find two 3/8" threads with improved stabilization design to attach a support arm or other accessories.

The VEO 3 233APS is an aluminum tripod, but in the VEO 3 series you can choose between carbon fiber or aluminum models with a dual-axis ball head or three-way panning head.

VEO PH-36S Three-Way Head

The VEO 3 23mm APS and CPS models incorporate the innovative VEO PH-36S panoramic ball joint, an improved version in CNC manufacturing that provides greater precision to the finishes, guaranteeing maximum stability and fixation.

The VEO PH-36S 2-way and 3-way head allows multiple angle options for video and/or observation. Thanks to the play between its two levers, you will achieve independent movements vertically and horizontally and you can lock the position with an easy twist lock system. If placed in parallel, you'll get the ideal position for panning video, attaching a telephoto lens or a spotting scope. The VEO PH-36S ball joint has a load capacity of up to 6kg.

The handle of the superior lever also rotates in 90º segments, which not only allows you to adjust the position on unstable terrain, but is also an opportunity to place the levers in a comfortable position for left-handed photographers.

To improve precision in framing, the VEO PH-36S head has an extra spirit level (in addition to the one included in the tripod canopy) and also a numbered base that will be useful when taking panoramas.

The VEO PH-36S ball joint comes with the Arca compatible QS-74 quick release shoe and a built-in safety pin.
