Monocular VANGUARD VEO ED 8420M

The VEO ED 8420M is a lightweight, compact and robust, water and fog resistant monocular with extra low dispersion (ED) glass for maximum clarity, especially in low light conditions.

With this monocular you can get 8 times closer to the action, while the 42mm objective lens, ED glass, BaK4 ceiling prism and advanced multi-coated lenses maximize transmitted light for a clear, sharp image. A solid membrane, resistant to scratches, water and oil, has VANGUARD applied to the front element.

Weighing just 300g and a compact design, it fits comfortably in one hand and in your pocket, making this an incredibly handy and portable monocular that you can easily carry with you wherever you go. You will have it ready to use at all times, offering a practical and comfortable alternative to the usual binoculars.

For use in the field, it only has one large textured focus wheel. This makes it easy and intuitive to focus the monocular, even in cold and wet conditions where gloves are needed. It is not necessary to complicate with diopters, just bring the monocular closer to the eye and focus in a matter of seconds so as not to miss any detail, whether it is a butterfly in a flower in front of you or a fast-moving object in the distance.

For greater stability of use, the monocular has a 1/4" thread that allows it to be attached to a standard monopod or table tripod, either on the fly or for long periods in a hiding place.

To keep the monocular protected, the IPX 7 waterproof and fog-resistant body is housed in thick rubber armor and covers are included to prevent scratches on the objective lens/eyepiece.

To maximize versatility, this monocular also includes a universal smartphone adapter and a bluetooth controller for digiscoping, which allows you to get closer to the action, while giving you the ability to photograph or videotape your subject with your mobile phone. The adapter is suitable for almost any mobile up to 55-87 mm wide.

The smartphone adapter fits easily and securely into the eyepiece of the monocular. Since smartphone camera lenses are in different locations, and even with multiple lenses, the adapter can be adjusted horizontally and vertically to align the eyepiece of the monocular with the camera lens of the smartphone.

When used with a tripod or monopod, you can also use the Bluetooth remote control, which allows you to shoot the camera of any IOS or Android smartphone without touching the smartphone, minimizing the risk of shake and blurred photos.
