Cine IRIX 15mm Lens

Designed to capture up to 8K cinema-style images, the IRIX EF-mount 15mm CANON T2.6 Cine Lens incorporates multiple internal and external design features. This compact 15mm lens will produce a classic wide-angle look and is compatible with 35, Super35, RED DRAGON 6K, ARRI ALEXA, APS-C, Micro Four Thirds, Super 16 and additional full-frame sensors. External features include a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus markings on the feet, and a detachable 1/4"-20 support foot.

Internally, nine blades produce smooth, rounded bokeh, and four seals protect against inclement weather and dust. To help eliminate aberrations and distortions, the 15mm IRIX T2.6 T2.6 Cine Lens is built with 15 optical elements, including three HRI (High Refractive Index) elements, two ED (extra-low dispersion), and two ASP (aspherical) elements. An adaptive focus ring offers smooth focusing whether used manually or with a lens motor. This lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy lens has 180° focus and 75° iris rotation, and an 86mm front filter thread. The EF-mount T2.6 15mm cine lens from CANON includes front and rear caps.

Cinematic look
The IRIX Cine 15mm is a 43.3mm full-frame wide-angle lens that uses 15 optical elements, including three high refractive indexes (HRI), two extra-low scatter (ED) glasses, and two ASP (aspherical) elements, to create sharp cinematic images. Shoot in resolutions up to 8K while keeping focus to a minimum. This lens features a relatively fast T2.6 maximum aperture and can be stopped up to T22.

Wide-angle lens
Create a wide viewing angle for classic wide-angle shots or a 100° widescreen viewing angle in a 1.39:1 widescreen format.

Ready for any weather conditions
Rain or shine, the rugged and durable construction of the 15mm Cine IRIX ensures you can keep working no matter what the weather throws at you. The lens is resistant to rain, sand, and dust, so you can take it with you on your next desert or jungle adventure if your camera can withstand those environments. The marks etched into the lens have been filled with UV-reactive paint, making filming in difficult lighting conditions much easier.

Functionality & Innovation
All cine lenses IRIX have very similar dimensions and weight, allowing for quick and easy lens changes without the need to change the rest of the settings. The product is equipped with a magnetic mounting system (MMS) that allows you to connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge line or an optional lens hood.

Compact design

Magnetic mounting system
All magnetic IRIX mount lenses are compatible with the separately available IRIX Edge MMS filters and IRIX lens hood. The IRIX Edge magnetic filters have a unique threadless design, so you can be sure that everything will stay clean and ready for action. MMS filters can be stacked together, allowing you to not only combine them freely but also save space when stored. All IRIX Edge MMS filters are made of toughened optical glass (SR) with an anti-reflective multi-layer nano-coating that makes them easy to clean.
